Anastasia Le Roy has failed to qualify for the Women's 400m semi-finals at the IAAF World Championships.

Le Roy finished sixth in heat five with a time 52.26, which is not fast enough to qualify among the six fastest losers.

The race was won by the Olympic champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo in a comfortable time of 51.30.

Deborah Sananes of France came second in 51.76 seconds and Mary Moraa of Kenya finished in third in 51.85 seconds.

Shericka Jackson and Stephenie Ann Mcpherson will contest the 400m semi-finals tomorrow at 12:50pm.
