How important is public beach access to you?

Sydoney Brackett:

I am not really a huge beach lover. But I believe it is a natural resource that all Jamaicans should have access to. It is sad that tourists can come and access such luxury but we are being deprived. The free public beaches are not clean and at some that are usable, safety is a problem.

Carleen Francis:

It's really important to me and my family. A lot of times we want to go and relax but we don't have the money to pay for access. Most times we go to those nearby, but they are not necessarily hygienic. Unfortunately, the ones that are clean and fun charge us for access, so I find myself not going to the beach anymore because I can't really afford to.
