World War II veteran Robert B. Beaudreau (left), 95, shakes hands with Commander Murzban Morris, the commanding officer of the fast frigate USS Taylor, during a ship-board ceremony commemorating the lives lost during the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

The service was held yesterday at Mayport Naval Station, Florida. Beaudreau was serving aboard the USS West Virginia during the attack.
