Fillipino migrants, most working as maids and nannies, have joined the annual May Day parade in Morocco's capital Rabat to demand improved working conditions and more rights under the auspices of a local union. Morocco has announced that 65 percent of migrants applying for legal status were approved, some 18,000 people, in the first year of the country's new immigration policy.
