Quake rattles Southern California
FONTANA, California (AP):
A magnitude 4.2 earthquake rattled inland Southern California, but there were no reports of damage or injury.
The United States Geological Survey says the quake struck at 5:54 a.m. yesterday in Fontana and was felt across Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Los Angeles counties.
It was followed by two small aftershocks. The epicentre was about 50 miles (80 kilometres) east of downtown Los Angeles.
