ATHENS, (AP): Greece's fire service says three more bodies were found yesterday bringing the death toll from the flooding to 19 after flash floods inundated the outskirts of Athens.

Rescue crews are continuing to search for another one more persons reported missing.

The flash floods devastated the western fringes of the Greek capital last Wednesday, turning streets into torrents of mud and debris that swept away cars, collapsed walls and submerged parts of a major highway.

Twelve people are still hospitalised, including an elderly woman in intensive care.
