A sinting is “something,” a happening – a chance to get together.
Jamaicans love to dance and have fun and Summer Sintings, a weekly series of free-to-the-public interactive flash-mob-style events across the Greater Toronto Area, will bring the fun to you.
Jump for Jamaica’s 50th year of independence, May to June, with the sintings officially launching on Victoria Day, Monday, May 21, from noon to 5 p.m. at Christie Pits Park, 750 Bloor Street West – produced by Jamaica 50 Celebration Inc.
Saluting the rhythms, Jamaica 50 Celebration Inc. launches “Jump for Jamaica,” an all-star celebration song created by Jamaican singer-songwriter Courtney John and Canadian Jamaican chart-topping deejay Mr.Lexx, produced by Fashcam and Chris Smith Management.
The international anthem features top international music stars from Canada, Jamaica and the USA including Andreena Mill, Beenie Man, Kreesha Turner, Jay Douglas, Marcia Griffiths, Steele, Kardinal Offishall, Saukrates, T.O.K. to name a few! “Jump for Jamaica” will be available on iTunes after May 21.
