First female Opposition leader to be sworn in

PROVIDENCIALES,CMC:
One week after a general election was held on this British Overseas territory, the first female Leader of Opposition is scheduled to be sworn into office on Friday by Governor Ric Todd.
Deputy leader of the People’s Democratic Movement (PDM) Sharlene Cartwright Robinson will be appointed in accordance with Article 56 of the Turks and Caicos Islands Constitution.
On Tuesday , Dr. Rufus Washington Ewing, 44, was sworn in as the third Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
