BERMUDA
HAMILTON:
Former leader of the now defunct United Bermuda party (UBP), Michael Dunkley, has rejected suggestions he plans to challenge Craig Cannonier for leadership of the main opposition One Bermuda Alliance (OBA)after next month’s general election.
The OBA’s deputy leader, currently a senator in the outgoing Parliament, blamed the ruling Progressive Labour Party (PLP) for creating the controversy.
He told a news conference he will not challenge Opposition Leader Cannonier, a relative political newcomer, for the party’s top job.
