Regional MET official wants ISO standards

CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC:
A senior official of the Caribbean Meteorological Organisation (CMO), Tyrone Sutherland, says the tourism sector could be adversely affected if the meteorological services in St. Lucia is not certified by the Switzerland based International Organization for Standardization (ISO).


Sutherland held talks with Deputy Prime Minister Phillip J Pierre as part of a visit to the region on charting the way forward for the meteorology in the sub-region.
