The Trinidad and Tobago United Teachers Association (TTUTA) says it supports school principals on the island in withholding any active participation Òat this timeÓ in efforts towards implementing the Continuous Assessment Component (CAC) of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA).
Addressing the annual media aIn a full page advertisement, the TTUTA said it was urging all teachers and principals not to participate in particular in activities Òsuch as the Creative Writing Practice AssessmentÓ on January 31 next year. TTUTA said that since May 2012 it had expressed concerns about Òthe rushed approach of the Ministry of Education towards the CAC.
