ST JOHN'S, Antigua, CMC:
Newly elected leader of the main opposition Antigua labour Party (ALP) Gaston Browne has criticised the Baldwin Spencer administration over the late payment of salaries to public workers.
People have worked for their money; they have given their time and their intellect in expectation of their income.
When they are not paid, their lives are severely disrupted. Last week the Antigua & Barbuda Union of Teachers (ABUT) called out its members and gave the government until December 6 to make the payment.
