Search on for 'Male of the Year'

THE SEARCH has started in earnest for the Manhunt International 'Male of the Year' for 2000. Since January scouts from the local Champs Model Management camp have been searching for the male to take over from last year's winner Kirk Headley.

Manhunt International is seeking to find the male who best depicts the attributes that most women would desire - good looks, great personality, charm, sex appeal, good physique, fashion conscious and a good conversationalist.

He should be between 18 and 35 years, regardless of marital status or affiliation to any agency, with photogenic qualities and a strong desire to become an international model/ambassador for the island.

Entrants should be residing in Jamaica for a year and over and have plans to live here for the next two years.

The finals will be on Sunday, July 9 at the Le Meridien Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, with The first elimination being set for Saturday, May 27.

This year's winner must be prepared to leave the island from September 14 to 24, 2000 for the International finals in Singapore.

Entry forms can be obtained from Totally Male Ltd, Island Life Mall New Kingston; Spunk Creations, South Avenue; House of Style, Pavilion Mall and Champs Model Management.
