Gospel Train Breakthrough 2000 will be held from Saturday, July 29, to Saturday, August 12, in Portland, Mandeville, Falmouth, Sav-la-mar, May Pen, St. Mary and Kingston, featuring Papa San, Carlene Davis, Ziggy Soul, Winsome Benjamin, Glacia Robinson, Prodigal Son, Kgees, Junior Tucker, Jodi McCalla, Segulah and Forgiven.

National Baptist Basic School presents its fundraising August Fair on August 1 at the Jodi Ann Sports Complex, corner of Greenwich Street and Gem Road.

La Face models take the stage at Club 2000, Friday August 4. Action starts at 11:30 p.m.

Female oil wrestling comes to Club 2000 August 5. Three matches are scheduled. Starting time is 11 p.m.

Ladies Night continues on Sunday while August Monday Blow-Out Party starts at 9 p.m.

Teen Splash returns to Port Kaiser Sports Club, St. Elizabeth, featuring Beenie Man and the Shocking Vibes Crew, Mr. Vegas, The Potental Crew, Madd Anju, Sammy Question and Apache Chief, Freeman, Granny, Sissy and Scandal, on Independence Day, August 7.

Mr. Vegas, Spragga Benz and BIG family performs at Classique Night Club, Santa Cruz this Saturday, July 29. Starting time is 1 p.m.

The Salvation Army, Caribbean Territory, will host a Music Camp dubbed "CariMI" from July 13-23. The Music Camp will be open to musicians and persons interested in learning to play a musical instrument as well as people from other denominations.

Optimist Club of Oracabessa presents 'Jamaica Night' at the St. John Chrysoston Roman Catholic Church, Oracabessa this evening at 6p.m.

Bridgette Promotions presents "Slew Dem A Bare Feelings Dem A Carry" on August 5 at the Hydel School Park, Mandela Highway, featuring special guests Classical and Atom, Danny English, Eggnog, Greg Hines, Chico, Alozade, Ninja Ford. Music by Travellers, Katarock, and Money Cologne.

Emancipation Beach Party featuring Peter Phillips, Skyy Disco, Adonai this Tuesday August 1, 2000 (Emancipation Day) Venue is James Bond Beach, Oracabessa.

The exciting summer series continues at Margueritaville Montego Bay on Saturday July 29 starting at 10 p.m. The event called "Summer's Cool" will feature top disco Copper Shot in what is expected to be a great evening of fun.

In what is being called 'Kingston Invasion' the Copper Shot will play the latest reggae, hip hop and soul music.
