Tastee auditions September 2

ENTRIES FOR the 22nd Tastee Talent Contest will close Saturday, September 2, when the final audition takes place at Tastee Outdoor Theatre, Cross Roads, beginning at 10.a.m.

Twenty-five persons will be selected to compete in the September 28 semi-finals. Amateur singers, deejays, dancers, dramatists and other talented persons living in Jamaica will be afforded the opportunity to win cash and other prizes.

Interested persons are requested to submit entry forms, which are available at all Tastee outlets. Persons selected from the audition will be notified.

According to a release, contestants will be expected to attend rehearsals and grooming sessions, on dates which will be set by the organisers. Entrants are also reminded, that only clean lyrics and acts will be accepted. Original compositions will put contestants in a good position to win an additional award - Best Original Entry and cash prize of $15,000.
