HAVE YOU ever succeeded as a result of having failed?
To know the full value of light is to relate to darkness, to appreciate the beauty of the ocean, is to have experienced the desert. To fully comprehend life, one must ultimately understand death. So it is, that to become one with success, one must have met some form of failure.
Like it or not, it was 'ordained' by the Minister of Education and all teachers that youths must suffer the horrors of examinations. My advice to you, is to get over it. The sooner you accept this reality, the better it will be for you.
What remains sure, however, is that for every examination (at least all those which I have sat) one will either pass of fail. To pass, is heavenly, one never has to see the teacher again for that course and you get to advance to a higher level. The question is, what if you don't pass? By placing a block in your mind you limit yourself to never passing, perhaps always seeing that teacher and worse, becoming a fully-pledged 'failure'.
To the contrary, one can fail a course and use the experience to their benefit. Perhaps tell yourself that you will never fail again and work towards achieving that goal, but never give up. To all those Math and Science haters out there, I feel your pain! Believe me, if I could pass CXC Math, you can too. The challenge in life is not to always win, it really is to never stop trying.
