Entertainers headline new video


Luckie D and Tony Curtis

DEEJAY DELLY Ranks, as well as singers Cupid, Christopher, Lukie D and Tony Curtis, headlined a cast of entertainers featured in a music video promoting the 'Far East 2001' rhythm, shot recently at Cactus nightclub, Portmore.

The three-hour shoot was directed by Jackie Haughton, of TVJ, who recently worked on the video for Maria Maria by Anthony Cruz and featured a medley of each performer's song on the rhythm.

Also participating on location were two female dancers/models from the La Face modelling agency; Portmore Cable Television host/emcee, Andrew 'Nuffy' Nelson; DJs Ghandi, Mad Cobra, Nu Born; MC Nail; dancer/entertainer Fresh S and entertainer/emcee Fancy Cat.

The Far East 2001 rhythm was engineered by 'Tixie' of Music Works recording studio. It was produced by singer Cupid for City Lock Records.

Among the songs recorded on the rhythm are Knocks Me Off My Feet by Tony Curtis;The Vow by Lukie D; I Still Believe and I Don't Wanna Know by Cupid; Can't Stay Away From You by Christopher and Bruck Wey by Delly Ranks.
