H. View ease into final

DEFENDING champions Harbour View earned their place in the National Premier League end-of-round final with an emphatic 2-0 win over Waterhouse at Harbour View yesterday.

Harbour View ended the round on top with 19 points to be followed by Waterhouse with 17. Both teams will meet in the end-of-round final next Sunday at the National Stadium.

Scoring for Harbour View were national striker Fabian Taylor with a header in the seventh minute and national defender Clifton Waugh in the 65th.

Harbour View took the lead befoe both teams had settled. Craig White lost a challenge to Robert Scarlett on the left flank. The speedy player turned in a perfect cross for Taylor who rose unchallenged and headed on goal. The ball fell in the lap of Loxley Reid and trickled past him into the net.

Waterhouse did not lose their composure as they went in search for the eaqualiser. They had a big setback, however, when Leroy Smith collided with Daniel Shaw of Harbour View in the 11th minute and had to be taken to hospital for stitches to a wound.
