In praise of Gleaner columnists

THE EDITOR, Madam:

CONGRATULATIONS TO The Gleaner columnists for their incredible insight into the unfortunate US Presidential Elections. I am enjoying The Gleaner commentary much more than any found here in the US.

I suspect 'pun intended' in the Stephen Vasciannie article concerning the Observer commentary 'US Crisis Deepens'. I wonder if Mr. Vasciannie has seen the cartoon recently circulating here titled 'Electial Dysfunction'! Tony Deyal is right on target with 'US Presidents and Electoral Stories'. Martin Henry and Calvin Bowen add right-on predictions and candid observations to the collection of outstanding commentary.

Three cheers for the excellent journalists that contribute to The Gleaner!
