Thanks, Air Jamaica!

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I know horror stories abound for travel around the Christmas season. However, my story is one of praise for Air Jamaica and the Norman Manley airport staff. My flight was excellent. Air Jamaica pilots are to be commended on their landings and take-off.

I was on flight 41 from Baltimore on December 13. Upon clearing immigration, I found that my cellular phone was missing, and I feared the worst.

The first person I spoke to, Ricardo Fortella, was able to rush me back onto the aircraft and there was my phone in plain view on the seat where I had left it. The full cleaning crew was hard at work and anyone of them could have easily slipped the phone into a pocket; no one did.

I would like to compliment the cleaning crew on their honesty, Mr. Fortella for his timely help, and the Air Jamaica flight crew of flight 41 on December 13 for a safe and comfortable flight.

I am etc,

OMAR WALLACE
