A really positive move

THE EDITOR, Madam:

IT IS so refreshing to pick up The Gleaner and see and read articles under the "What's Right with Jamaica" column. In these times when there are so many negatives, this is really a positive move. I must commend the Editor of The Gleaner for doing this. There are many people both here and overseas who believe that Jamaica is the worst place on earth. There is so much fear because of all the violence and economic woes, that anything positive is welcome.

There is also a column called "Millennium Generation" which is a delight to read. My congratulations to you and may your journalists seek to find more positives in the society and publish them along side the negatives. This will only augur well for our country and for the youth in particular.

I am etc.,
