Macho romance

Rory Welsh

QUITE THE contrary to what many might believe, women cannot accept good romance when it comes along. Additionally they are often the victims of confused emotions:

Regarding the silly statement of men 'dogging around' in an effort to improve their record, only one thing can be said, 'That's right'. In fact, as long as some women continue to sell themselves short and cheaply then expect records to be broken.

There are those naive women young and old who believe romance should only be portrayed in English. What's wrong with telling women 'sweet nothings' in patois as long as it genuine?

It is said that guys hardly ever remember special days, yet the first experience is usually repeated and glorified... certainly not forgotten. Brain size! Shrink? Not worth a response.

There is a general feeling that most men are mean and only show affection when engaging in the sex act. If this is so, why does such an old trick continue to work. Brain?

As for the accusation that men are unable to express their feelings, perhaps women should look at themselves. Why should a man have to express his feelings when the game can be easily won with an effortless line such as "Baby wha happen"?
