Shaggy continues his support for BCH

MULTI-PLATINUM selling recording artiste Shaggy has proven once again that he has a "heart of gold". Last week Shaggy and his band, The Hotshot Crew, came through for the Bustamante Hospital for Children. The event was organised by Mr. Nigel Lyn, Lighting Director for the Hotshot Crew. He represented the multi-platinum star and his band.

They donated several plants and trees to create a beautifully landscaped park on the grounds of the BCH, a fir tree, and several flowering shrubs were planted by Mr. Lyn, along with former band member Jana Bent and friends of the band, Anique Davis, Angela Stanley and Melissa Crooks. "Shaggy's commitment to the Bustamante Children's Hospital is firm. And now our band has joined him in his efforts, further donating the plants and trees, because we hope to create a haven for the children, to speed their recovery, and also ensure a place where staff can unwind from their daily challenges", said Mr. Lyn.

Gloria Robinson, CEO of the Hospital, expressed her gratitude for Shaggy's support. "Shaggy is a true and thoughtful friend to our Hospital, we all deeply appreciate his generosity and wish him great blessings in his work and life."
