Issues for MP's attention

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WISH to bring to the attention of Hon. George Lyn MP, Four Paths P.A., Clarendon these matters which are now becoming intolerable.

(A) PAROCHIAL ROADS: in the Rock River area Bellas Gate to San Hole, Rock River to Lime Hall-Mitchell's Hill, Oaks to Coxwain and Ward Hill to Morrant. These roads are in terrible/deplorable conditions and need immediate attention. They are having adverse effects on motor vehicles and pedestrians alike.

(B) STREET LIGHTS: are needed badly, one at Ward Hill and two at Garden Wood.

(C) TANK REPAIRS: The public catchment tank at Simon is badly in need of repair, the tank cannot store any water due to damage to the bottom. The MP should allocate funds immediately to deal with these problems, either from SESP or LPD funds.

(D) HYDRANT: I must also solicit the MP's help in installing a hydrant at Sangster's Heights. This is becoming a fast growing community which needs the service of a hydrant.

I do hope he will tour the areas mentioned and have a firsthand knowledge of the existing conditions, and promptly address these matters.

I am, etc.,

URIAH MITCHELL

Councillor/Caretaker

Rock River Division

Clarendon
