Montego Bay Cycle Club needs help

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM a Jamaican living in the USA (Maryland). On my recent trip to Jamaica, I was introduced to the Montego Bay Cycle Club. I was amazed at the enthusiasm of the cyclists in that area of sport. I am very proud of Jamaica, because gone are the days, that Jamaicans are known only for track and field, etc.

The Montego Bay Cycle Club is organised by Clarence Smith. I look forward to seeing a Jamaican in the Tour de France.

If you are in the Montego Bay area and wish to observe or sponsor a cyclist, please call Clarence Smith at the Montego Bay Cycle Club at 876-770-7163.

I am etc.,
