PSOJ Economic Seminar postponed again

THE PSOJ annual economic seminar entitled "New Players, New Opportunities, New Legislation and Growth?" which was scheduled to begin today has been postponed until July 23 due in part to the civil unrest that has gripped Kingston.

A discussion was to take place on the soon to be enacted Companies Act more specifically auditing and accounting implications of the new Companies Act and The future of the Jamaican Telecommunications Market.

The guest speaker for the seminar was due to be Salomon Smith & Barney's, Investment Banking managing director Hugo Verdegaal. He was scheduled to examine Jamaica's Outlook: The Perspective of an International Fund Raiser.
