Editorial - In the aftermath of carnage
One week after the carnage of West Kingston it may just be possible to identify something positive as a guideline for the future.

Back to business as usual
Contributor Dawn Ritch writes: "Apparently a bank robbery was in progress in Tivoli Gardens last weekend. Only that could require soldiers and policemen to take up sniper positions in the tops of buildings."

A negative definition of manhood
Contributor Melville Cooke states: "Until we teach our males that a man is defined as such based on what he does, rather than by what he does not, we are going to continue being led by the weak and visionless".

What West Kingston proves
"If we don't find a way to have the thousands in abject poverty and deprivation buy into something outside of their stomachs, then be prepared for many more weeks like the last one," says contributor Ian Boyne.
