Don't hurt the young people THE EDITOR, Sir: I THANK God for the security forces and for the work they do at the risk of their own lives, in keeping this country safe. However, gentlemen, please don't put any more of our young people to lie on the hot concrete in the sun for hours. Lying in the sun can suggest lethargy, laziness or in a worse-case scenario, dehydration and sun-stroke. Couldn't you 'teach them a lesson' in a more creative way like giving them a clean-up job for which they could receive a little praise for a job well done? Let us do all we can in all the ways we can to help, not further hurt, the young people of our land. I am, etc., ELSIE SAYLE Kingston 6
