Editorial - The polls and the parties
The governing People's National Party would have received a boost last weekend in its quest for a fourth consecutive term in office with the publication of the latest polls commissioned by this newspaper.

I have borne it long enough. The silence of Edward Seaga, Opposition Leader on the subject of the FINSAC debt. Not the individual sum owed by his company but the debt in its entirety, other people's included.


Becoming a teacher's pet
The teacher, accused of acting inappropriately with youths at her school, went to trial and was acquitted. What I'd like to know is, how come we never had a teacher like that at my school?


Mismanaged Parish Councils
There is no question that our Parish Councils which rely a great deal on holding on to statutory deductions from employees' salaries to finance their operations, could be self-sufficient, if properly managed.
