By Nodley Wright, Staff ReporterAFTER DROPPING two vital points in the second end-of-round final at the Harbour View Mini-Stadium on Sunday, it is back to wheel for title aspirants Tivoli Gardens.
The Tivoli Gardens/Village United clash at the Railway Oval today is the highlight of the five third round matches on today. Second-round final winners Harbour View tackle Waterhouse at Ferdie Neita Park in a bid to carry over their good form from the last round.
Their efforts should be helped by the return of striker Fabian Taylor who tasted action for the first time on Sunday since October 28. Despite being out for more than four months with an ankle injury, Taylor is still the leading goalscorer for his team.
In another game in the Corporate Area, overall leaders Constant Spring host the already relegated Duhaney Park. The home side is expected to have its way with a team which earned only one point from the previous round and a total of six for the competition thus far.
Defending champions Arnett Gardens' form dipped in the second round and they finished out of the frame for the end of round final. Their loss of form coincided with the unavailability of Walter Boyd, Fabian Davis and Kevin Wilson. At least two of three should be back today to face Reno the last team to beat them in round two.
The game is at the same venue and Reno, who are within the drop zone, are in need of every single point. A win would be most valuable to them. For this to take place Kirk Wright ,who scored in the last game against Arnett Gardens, will have to again be on target.
Wadadah, who are also battling to stay afloat, host Hazard who played themselves out of the end-of-round final. For them pride will be at stake. They are currently second overall and will not want to miss the frame again.
