Le Meridien, Jamaica Pegasus in New Kingston will play host to 'Vintage vs. Soca'. Gates open at 3 p.m. but showtime will be 7:30 p.m. Featuring Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Colin Lucas, Marvin Brooks, Ken Boothe, Peter Phillips Disco and Paula-Ann Porter. Admission: $500 pre-sold, $600 at the gate.

FUNDRAISING FETE

The Oberlin Past Student Association will be presenting a 'Fundraising Fete' at Priscilla's Nightclub, 103 Constant Spring Road. The fete gets underway at 9 p.m. and will run until you say when. Music will be provided by Wild Bunch Disco. Admission: $300 presold, $350 at the gate.

FACES 2002 MODEL SEARCH

La Face Modelling Agency presents 'Faces 2002 Model Search' at the Hilton Kingston Hotel in New Kingston. Featuring Voise Mail. Showtime 8:30 p.m. Music y Popular Disco. Admission $700.

TEEN JAM

Teen Jam 2002 will be held tomorrow and every Saturday at the Rainbow Skateland in Half-Way Tree from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music by Katarock, Changez and Epidemik. There will also be a celebrity basketball match and a school vs. school basketball competition. In addition there will be a special guest sound every week. Admission: $100.

MATURE MIX

The Mature Mix at the Hilton's Jonkanoo Lounge continues tomorrow and every Saturday. Come and enjoy music from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. The event begins at 8 p.m. and will continue until you say when. Musical juggling will be provided by DJ Johnny Kool. Admission: $300.

The fifth staging of 'An Evening of Excellence' hosted by the Mary Seacole Hall will be held at the Assembly Hall, UWI, Mona. Featuring Karen Smith, Abijah and Bob Andy and many more. Part proceeds of the event will go towards the Athlone Wing of the Mona Rehabilitation Centre.

GET IN THE GROOVE

Sunday nights will come alive with Get in the Groove, featuring music of the 60s, 70s and 80s at the Jonkanoo Lounge, Hilton Kingston Hotel, 77 Knutsford Boulevard. The weekly theme party begins at 7 p.m. and goes up until you say when, with music from yesteryear by Andrew Henry. There will also be a prizes and surprises segment, to include special guest acts and give-aways. Admission: $300.

100% REGGAE

Harry's Bar hosts 100% Undiluted Roots Rock Reggae this and every Sunday. Music will be provided by Rockers International Sound Station, beginning at 6 p.m. Admission: $100 before 10 p.m., $200 thereafter.

GEMI AT COPA

A weekly juggling session is being held at the Little Copa Club every Sunday, featuring selections from Father Gemini of Gemini Disco. The session begins at 12 noon and goes up until 12 midnight.

ST. CATHERINE

VINTAGE AT TJ'S

TJ's Pit Stop Jerk Centre Restaurant and Sports Bar in Springfield hosts Vintage Reggae and Soca Jam Session every Sunday. The session will get underway at 3 p.m. and run until you say when. Music will be provided. Menu includes jerk chicken, roast fish and jerk pork, with fish tea on the house. Free admission.

HEINEKEN BASH

This and every Wednesday Heineken Bashment will be held at the Peppers Nightclub, beginning at 6 p.m. Music from the 70s and 80s will be the order of the day, played by DJ Ian Gibson.

WILD JONKANOO

Wednesday nights are Jonkanoo Nights at the Hilton Kingston's Jonkanoo Lounge, with the theme 'Get Wild - Anything Goes!'. It begins at 9 p.m. and end when you say when. Admission: $200.
