A great day

THE EDITOR, Sir:

AMIDST THE despair concerning reports of silly statements from 'leaders,' carnage on the roads, and disrespect for human lives in our communities, I had the pleasure of starting my day by reading Mel Cooke's article on the beauty of the black female.

Next I was blessed with a picture of Serena Williams celebrating her recent victory at the US Open.

What a start to a day! Could anything possibly spoil the rest of that day?

I am, etc.,

PAUL WRIGHT (Dr.)
