Is this a black man country?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

FOR OVER 30 years now, I have often heard the black man shouting "This is black man country." May I humbly ask - what documentation the black man has to prove that he 'legally' bought Jamaica from the British?

From the source of political negotiation, the British, on August 6, 1962, handed over Jamaica to a people, not only of black complexion, but people of other complexions - white, red, brown, dark-brown, pink, yellow, olive-skinned. All these people are also the proprietors of Jamaica.

To say - "This is a black man country", is disloyal to our national motto - "Out of Many One People".
