Nudity at 'family restaurant'

THE EDITOR, Sir:

DURING THE month of July 2002, I had the opportunity to visit the Burger King located in Portmore.

I cannot begin to explain to you the emotions that engulfed me when I realised that blaring on a television screen was the movie Eyes Wide Shut. Tom Cruise and his wife at the time were stark naked for my children and others to see. There was also a birthday party for children going on.

Upon asking for and speaking with a manager the channel was changed, but what I don't understand is why would a 'family restaurant' would be showing soft porn, age-inappropriate movies on their T.V. screens. Is there any wonder why our society is the way it is today? Anything and everything goes.

I am etc.,
