LIVE CABARET SHOW

Big Sound Nite is held at Margaritaville Ocho Rios this and every Saturday. The event begins with a live cabaret show by vocal impersonator Sammy Davis, then from 10 p.m. until 'you say when'.

SAVOUR INTELLIGENT NIGHTLIFE

The Smirnoff Experience returns. Savour intelligent nightlife at the Blue Mountain Inn, Gordon Town, St. Andrew. Something 4 D Honiz will be held at the Constant Spring Golf Club, St. Andrew. This will be a hat party. Admission: $300 with hat and $500 without. Ladies free before 12 midnight. Hipnotiq will be staged at Jamaica Vibes, New Kingston. Admission: $300 presold and $500 at the gate. This will be an 'uptown' flex.

CHORDS OF PRAISE

The Meadowvale Seventh-Day Adventist Church Music Department presents Music Day 2002 under the theme 'Nations Respond in Chords of Praise' commencing at 9:00 a.m. Special guest singers: Claude Edwards, April Simmonds, Noreen Greenwood, Praise and Adoration and the Advent Praise Chorale. At 4:00 p.m. the Adventist Youth Programme will be done by The Meadowvale Youth Choir.

TEEN JAM

The teen jam dubbed Teen Link is held at the Jonkanoo Lounge, Hilton Kingston Hotel, New Kingston, this and every Saturday from 12 noon to 7 p.m.

LATIN NIGHT

The Courtleigh Hotel and Suites presents Saturday Latin Mingle this and every Saturday. Come and enjoy salsa, meringue and wild wild Latin beats. Music by Lime Squash Disco and Gustavo the salsa dog. Latin dance lessons will be taught between 7 and 9 p.m.

A BENEFIT CONCERT

The Ward Theatre Foundation will be presenting a benefit concert under the theme Music at the Ward at the Ward Theatre, beginning at 5 p.m. Featuring: Paul Williamson (tenor), Roger Williams (piano), Rosina Moder (recorder), and Rafeal Salazar (recorder/clarinet), with a special guest appearance by Sean Hird (flute).
