A worthwhile appeal
THE EDITOR, Sir: The Addiction Alert's Adolescent Drug Prevention Programme, which has been funded by the European Commission for the last three years, comes to an end in December 2002.

Nathan Walker
THE EDITOR, Sir: I hope someone can help me. I am trying to find my brother's father but don't know where to look for help. His name is Nathan Walker and he came to England to study in 1963-64. He was studying in Birmingham, when he met my mother.

My siblings
THE EDITOR, Sir: I am trying to locate two brothers and two sisters who I have just learned about.

Goodbye Jamaica
THE EDITOR, Sir: I was sitting in my office in Northern Virginia this morning, not at all nervous after the recent sniper attacks, when I started reading your article about the children who were shot by gunmen in Kingston.

Crime out of control
THE EDITOR, Sir: It is clear for all to see that this government has not grasped or does not truly understand the serious nature of the problems gripping the country.

Congrats
THE EDITOR, Sir:I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Hon. Dr. Donald Rhodd on his re-election as Member of Parliament for East Portland and also on his appointment as one of the junior ministers in the Ministry of Education Youth...

Fight crime with CCTV
THE EDITOR, Sir: It is commendable of Dr. Peter Phillips, Minister of National Security, to be actively considering implementing the installation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in an attempt to assist with deterring crime.

Concerned about violence
THE EDITOR, Sir: I am writing due to my ongoing concern with the level of violence plaguing Jamaica. I echo the Prime Minister's concern and call for a united front to combat this scourge.
