Solutions at hand!

The Editor Sir,
Each day when I take up the Gleaner and turn to this page (Letters and Opinion page) it is replete with ideas, suggestions, solutions, advice and criticisms etc.... on various matters of local and national importance; crime and violence, squatting, urban redevelopment, food security and agriculture, trade, waste management, policing, politicking, development, court of justice (justice), street vending, marijuana, transportation and a whole range of issues that affect our lives negatively day after day due to their poor management, and will continue to do so if left unabated.
I wonder to what extent the offices of our government scrutinise these suggestions, advice and criticisms and translate them into the fabric of their planning framework.
This portion of the Gleaner continues to prove that the population of Gleaner readers are really tuned with national and local matters and are genuinely concerned about curing this country from the virus of decadence and degradation that infest the lives of every single citizen and institution. Their genuine concern for the present and future development of Jamaica (Land We Love!) should be represented in our government!
I pray that this portion of the Gleaner becomes an invaluable resource for the government as it looks for solutions to our many problems and alternatives ways to govern.
