'Lower your fares, Air J'

THE EDITOR, Sir,
I am writing about the sky high prices that Air Jamaica is once again charging for the flight from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Kingston. When I called the airline this past Monday, I was quoted a fare of US$513. I was shocked because the flight from Fort Lauderdale to Kingston is under 1 1/2 hours long.
I was told that to fly from Chicago to Kingston would cost a mere US$258. What is going on with these high fares? Air Jamaica, please lower your fares so that we Jamaicans living in South Florida can "come back to Jamaica" PLEASE!
