Liberation at gunpoint
THE EDITOR, Sir: FIRST OF all, let me say that I deplore Saddam Hussein's repressive and murderous regime. But it would be remiss if I did not express my utter disapproval of the American and British invasion of Iraq.

Side-tracked by the war
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE STRONG influence of the international media has led to a preoccupation with the "Iraqi War" . While we must pay attention to it, we cannot do so to the detriment of important local issues.

Supporting the US, opposing the War
THE EDITOR, Sir: YOU HAVE heard it said, "Love the sinner; hate the sin." Jesus forgave those who were murdering him while in the act.

Terror attack in Baghdad
THE EDITOR, Sir: "MASSIVE BOMB dropped in residential neighbourhood".

Gullies as roads
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM saddened at the passing of Pauline Gray, a bright, wonderful and effective professional that I had the great pleasure of working with some years ago.

Side-tracked by the war
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE STRONG influence of the international media has led to a preoccupation with the "Iraqi War" .

A diverse Australia
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS AN Australian residing in Jamaica, I was concerned to read the comment by "MAD" April 4th, which used the term "Australian style segregation", when writing about Island Village, Ocho Rios.

Honouring Clyde Hoyte
THE EDITOR, Sir: ALLOW ME to publicly thank Rosina Christina Moder, her associates and all others who have recognised and honoured a great West Indian - Clyde Hoyte.

T annton Pouyat
THE EDITOR, Sir: I SEEK the family or anyone who may have information on a young airman, Tannton Oswald Coretantine Pouyat, who was sadly killed whilst training in Canada during WW2.
