To Your Health ! Can we fight cancer with food?
There's a whole world of fruit and vegetable juices out there. From left: Watermelon Extract; Callaloo, Cucumber, String Bean juice; and Mango juice, available at Livity restaurant in Kingston.

For your own food therapy, Phyllis and James Balch recommend the following:
Eat a diet that includes grains, nuts, seeds, and unpolished brown rice. Millet cereal is a good source of protein. Eat wheat, oat, and bran.


Livity well, eating even better
AT A TIME when illnesses like cancer and diabetes are on the rise, people are slowly becoming more aware of what they eat, says Tsehai Scott, one of the owners of Livity vegetarian restaurant in Kingston.
