Please repair these streets
published: Saturday | May 3, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir: I WRITE this letter out of concern for the state of disrepair of the roads in the community of Hermitage.

Recently in Jamaica for my father's funeral, I had occasion to visit long-time friends in the community, and could not believe the terrible road conditions. I can honestly say that since I left Jamaica 15 years ago, and the community over 20 years, no work has been done to repair these streets.

Working, law-abiding, tax-paying people live in this community and they deserve more attention. A high-ranking government official, an assistant coach, and several others managing large companies in Jamaica and abroad, called and still call this small community home.

Mr MP, please repair these streets.

I am etc.,
