Should 'values and attitudes' be based on the Bible?
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE WRITER, Betty Ann Blaine, has invited us all to contribute to the discussion of the "Values and Attitudes" campaign. This is a programme which has good intentions but really is very dubious in its execution.

An assault on human rights
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WOULD like to applaud your newspaper for highlighting the Castro regime's recent summary execution of three men arrested for hijacking a vessel.

Good move
THE EDITOR, Sir: I APPLAUD the closing of the Jamaica Tourist Board offices. We should get rid of the position of Ministry of Tourism and close all offices.

Restructuring the public sector
THE EDITOR, Sir: I THINK it is full time the ruling government consolidate some of the ministries and some of its agencies that they have, which will in turn realise tremendous savings.

Clarifying Honours and Awards
THE EDITOR, Sir: IN A letter to The Editor, Mr. Oswald Seymour asked for "equal honour for all heroes".
