Remove those cell jammers
published: Monday | May 12, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WRITE yet again about the inability to use cellular phones in the vicinity of the General Penitentiary (Rae Town). It has now been five months since the so-called jammers were installed to block prisoners from making outside calls with their cell phones. We in Rae Town can't use our phones because of this. I am pleading to this medium to shed some light on the matter URGENTLY.

Visitors to Rae Town Oldies on a Sunday night at times, have to be knocking doors at times to use a house phone to call a cab. WE need the jammers down immediately!

I am etc.,
