NWC to repair Bushy Park pump
published: Wednesday | June 18, 2003

THE NATIONAL Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Bushy Park, and surrounding communities in Clarendon, that the current disruption in their regular water supply is due to malfunctioning pumping equipment at that plant.

In a release, the NWC said the damaged pumping unit has been removed for repairs. However, NWC engineers estimate that full restoration of supply may not occur before Friday. Customers requiring assistance with trucked water and/or further information are being asked to contact the NWC's May Pen office.

The NWC said efforts were being made to restore service ahead of the time specified.
