Indians fined for working without permits
To be sent home on weekend

EIGHT INDIAN nationals, accused of overstaying their time in Jamaica and working without permits from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, were fined yesterday and are expected to leave the island this weekend.


New rules to govern US Visa Waiver Programme
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1 this year, all citizens of countries participating in the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) who wish to enter the United States visa-free must present a machine-readable passport (MRP) upon arrival at a port of entry.
