Break the chains of bitterness, Mr. Cooke
published: Monday | August 11, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM a great fan of Melville Cooke. He is a good writer - a talent of tremendous potential. Within his chest there is a great writer - aching to break free. We, who are his readers and his fans, long for that day of liberation. We know that it will come.

That day will come when Mr. Cooke breaks the chains of bitterness and hatred that enshackle his great talents and poison his writings. Then will his full talents be set free to soar.

"None but ourselves can free our mind..."

I am, etc.,
