Concerned about the lawlessness
published: Thursday | August 14, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE been living in England for many years. I try to go home to JA as often as I can. In the absence of home I always read The Gleaner.

However, my concern is with the escalating levels of crime that is affecting a beautiful country such as Jamaica. Unless something radical is done, your future headlines will read, "Lack of tourism leads to civil war".

You need to be talking to the political leaders and take action NOW to save what's left of my home. Lawlessness will lead to its downfall sooner rather than later. What are your thoughts?

I am, etc.,

Mrs Carolyn Palmer-Fagan
