JAMAICA got two picks on the West Indies Under-19 squad following the completion of the three-day championship in Guyana on Saturday.
All-rounder Xavier Marshall, the team's opening batsman and left-arm fast bowler Krishmar Santokie, were named in the squad which includes six players from double champions Trinidad and Tobago.
Denesh Ramdin, who won the batting and wicket-keeper awards, led the half dozen Trinidad and Tobago selections on the West Indies Under-19 squad for the Red Stripe Bowl in October.
The twin-island republic's first-class players Lendl Simmons and Ravi Rampaul, Tishan Maraj, Jonathan Agustus and Rishi Bachan are the other T&T players named to the squad.
Guyana got four spots from the West Indies junior selectors Ezra Moseley, Clyde Butts and Dereck Parry - Assad Fudadin, Zaheer Mohammed, Zamal Khan and Tyrell Tull.
Beaten finalists Windward Islands also earned four selections, through Liam Sebastien, who won the TCL Group best allrounder award, Craig Emanuel, Mervin Matthews and Jean Paul.
Dashing opening batsman Martin Nurse, who had a disappointing tournament, Kirk Edwards, and potent pacer Barrington Yearwood are the Barbadians in the squad, while Leeward Islands' off-spinner Larry Joseph complete the list.
Meanwhile, Ramdin emerged star performer at the tournament awards on Saturday evening at the GCC Ground, Bourda.
Ramdin, collected two individual awards plus the TCL League Challenge Trophy after guiding T&T to tournament-winning first innings points in their draw in the final against Windward Islands.
Ramdin, the tournament's top scorer, won the Caribbean Cement Company's most outstanding wicketkeeper award and the TCL most outstanding batsman title and led his team's dominance of the individual awards.
Top T&T pacer Ravi Rampaul, last year's tournament MVP, captured the Anwar Cement most outstanding bowler award and Tishan Maraj was named the TCL Man-of-the-Match for the final.
Windwards captain Liam Sebastien was named the Toolsie Persaud Ltd best all-rounder and Jamaica's Marshall was the best fieldsman.
Trinidad and Tobago captured their first three-day championship title in 16-years, when they claimed first innings points in the final to become the first team in the history of the tournament to do the double, after capturing the one-day title earlier.
The last time the Trinidadians were victorious was in 1987 in Jamaica under the captaincy of West Indies captain Brian Lara.
