Bravo, Single Entry!
published: Friday | September 19, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WRITE to comment on the letter by Mr. Gordon-Somers in Friday's Gleaner on the play Single Entry.

Clearly, Mr. Gordon-Somers saw the play from his upper middle class perspective with blinkers and all. It is my opinion that the play dealt honestly with the issues many Jamaicans face in society today. The show was full of laughter throughout with just enough social commentary to make you think. The actors couldn't have done better than they did in the show.

Please Mr. Gordon-Somers, don't blame the director for not tackling the violence problem in Jamaica. There are other programmes to deal with those issues like PALS etc. I went to the theatre to watch Single Entry and enjoy myself and I did wholeheartedly.

I am, etc.,
