NWC not constant
published: Thursday | October 2, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IS IT so hard for the National Water Commission to provide the Constant Spring area with water for 24 hours a day, seven days a week?

For several years, the area has been inconvenienced with water going off every night about 8:30. Has it taken that many years to solve the problem or has someone forgotten us? Either eventuality is far from acceptable.

The Water Commission may want to tell us why but after so many years we really aren't interested. We just want water.

Oh, the exception is when, after flood rains the system needs to be flushed out and so the water comes, but then it is brown and still cannot be used.

I am, etc.,

IVOR CONOLLEY

Constant Spring Road

Kingston 8
